What do you believe about the power that you hold?
“The Universe is prodigal in its support. We are miserly in what we accept.” …. “Take a small step in the direction of a dream and watch the synchronous doors flying open.” The Artist’s Way, page 66.
Goethe: “Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.”
With my interest in learning on the Law of Attraction (read about here), I have come to understand that where there is a gap with people pursuing what they love lies in their beliefs of themselves.
One of my favourite quotes is:
“I Am. Two of the most powerful words. For what you put after them shapes your reality.”
During the winter, I came up with a word(ish) – an acronym – to recite with my kids. My theory is, one of the best things I can give to them is to teach them to believe in their own power.
The acronym is: SSHHLLK – we say it as: ‘Shlick’.
I am Strong
I am Smart
I am Happy
I am Healthy
I am Lucky
I am Loving
I am Kind
If they grow up trusting themselves, then maybe they can pull from within any power they need to either overcome anything – or achieve what they want.
Ultimately, it has to come from within. Succeeding with any goals you want to achieve, or working through any challenges you face. No one can do it for you.
By laying the foundation to believe in your own power (and magic) you can make the way for future manifestations of your wishes.
Set yourself up for success, shape the reality you would like to see. I believe we all have more power than we realize.
