Creative Director: Affirm
I Create: Creative Director of my life.
Michael Beckwith, Joe Dispenza, Christie Sheldon, Kate Northrup, Jenna Black, Nikola Tesla, Regan Hillyer, David R. Hawkins, Paramahansa Yogananda and Eckhart Tolle. What do they all have in common? Their quotes and words have made up a collection in one of my notes pages on my phone. This note page is called: Affirm.
Affirm: to state positively. To assert or decree as valid.
Affirmations: the statement of a truth that you wish to realize and manifest in your life.
Earlier this year, I wondered how I could ensure progress and advancement with improving my mindset/ gratitude and leveling up my consciousness. As you know, which is the theme of this blog, an affirmation I write down daily, is ‘I Create: Creative Director of my life.’ This is just one affirmation. I picked a number of them that were and are important enough as daily reminders to start each day writing them out in my day planner. I also made a note page on my phone called ‘Affirm’ and it’s actually quite long now. I would add to it from different readings or particular quotes I came across and read daily.
To be accurate, some are also tips or things to remember. Such as this one from the Power of Now: ‘Create a space for transformation to happen. For grace and love to enter.’ They are all affirmations or just good advice, that I wanted to absorb by reading and being reminded of them on a daily basis.
Here’s just a few:
-Every day in every way, I am getting better
-Intention provides the vibration of willingness
-Become that person every day
-That which has led me this far will guide me further
-I am surrounded by support and guidance, both seen and unseen
-I am profoundly capable of very big things
These affirmations are so personal and you really have to hand-pick the ones that resonate with you. My own list has been an accumulation over years and many sources, to select the ones that are really meaningful to me. And they are meaningful to me because of the learning and discovery along the way. That’s why they resonate.
It’s such an important practice for me because what you tell yourself every day matters. Your relationship with yourself is your most important relationship. And we can best creatively direct our life when we are on our own side and biggest supporter.
Until next week,
Devon
