Mid year time. I’ve just had a mini vacation and a nice chance to unplug and take a break. Take a break from thinking about what to paint next and what projects I want to make happen. It was a much needed time to unwind.

And with mid-year, it’s a time I always think about what I’ve been able to do this year. What I’ve been able to accomplish and what I had hoped I might have more clarity on, but don’t. And a time to look at what I want to do in two focus times. One, to do over the summer, and two, what I can get done before the end of the year. A time to look anew at the goals I’d written down.

I want to take a minute and not rush it. Just look with fresh eyes and give it all due consideration. I don’t like to rush things that I want to do well. And I want to make sure I’m not either spreading myself too thin, or veering off course. When we want to create a life we love, we have to stay on track and keep progressing. And sometimes we might need a minute to look at it from all angles, and confirm the intention is on track as well as the destination.

I’ve put some thought into a couple of things I’m working on next. I’ll be excited to share with you when I’ve got the details in place! And I’ve realized that sending the info right to your email will be the most direct. With these next things being from the heart, it’s important to me that I can send to you directly. Part of this work comes from a place of vulnerability, so sending directly to your email is more intimate. I would only want to share with those that are really here for it. I would be honoured if that is you.

It’s really time for putting the true ‘me’ into my work. And looking at it anew has reaffirmed that for myself.
